Chelsea Morning – Bryan Chitty

I am British born but I have been fortunate to have spent most of my life in Africa. I have lived in Cape Town since 1985,  so I have a wide knowledge of this beautiful city and the surrounding countryside which I am happy to share with you.

In the past, I concentrated on a career as a professional photographer specialising in landscape, nature, architectural and aerial photography. I became very interested in 4×4 driving in order to get to those out-of-the-way places.  I qualified as an advanced 4×4 driver including certificates for winching and recovery techniques as well as bush mechanics. In 2005, I completed a 6 day tour of the restricted area of Namibia traversing some of the worlds biggest sand dunes.  I am an experienced off-road sand driver as well as bush and mud driving and I have competed in many points events for 4×4 vehicles.   I have to admit I am passionate about Landrovers!

Now I am a qualified tour guide.  I am therefore combining the tour guiding, the photography and the 4×4 experience into a complete package to show tourists and travellers alike the real South Africa and will drive to many places that normal tour operators would not venture.   The cherry on the top is that I am a keen cook so I will make sure you are well fed at the restaurants or eating places we visit along the way!

You can choose to join me on one of the sample tours or we can design one together to take in your interests, your dream destinations or that something special that you want to see in Africa!

Our journey starts where the tarmac ends ……
